The search committee established last year reviewed many excellent applicants for the executive director position, and we were gratified by the interest expressed by the talented individuals who applied for it. Given the strong pool of candidates, we are confident that we will find a superb leader for the future.
As the search enters its final stages at a time when the composition of the Executive Council has recently changed, the MLA’s first vice president, Anne Gere, and a newly appointed search committee will lead the process. The committee welcomes your suggestions for any additional candidates, so feel free to send recommendations to Jeff Kessner at Isaacson, Miller (jkessner@imsearch.com).
We thank you for your patience as we take the time necessary to find the right person to represent MLA members at this critical moment.
We look forward to updating you soon.
Very best,
Diana
